Five luminous days
The heart of our year unfolds across Saptami, Ashtami, Navami and Dashami — morning pushpanjali, the rhythm of the dhak, dhunuchi naach, community bhog, and the bittersweet farewell of Sindoor Khela and Bisarjan.
The invocation
Mahalaya marks the dawn of Devi Paksha and the countdown to Durga Puja. We gather in the early light to welcome Maa Durga with recitation, song and the timeless strains of Mahishasuramardini.
